I photograph the beauty of nature as I see and fee it in the moment. Photography is an art, and every viewer brings their own story and perspective. My hope is that somewhere in these images you discover a scene that resonates with you, one that feels meaningful, calming, or simply beautiful.
I have always been amazed by photographs of the night sky-those moments where the stars feel close enough to touch. For a long time I believed images like that were simply too difficult to capture myself.
In 2021 my husband and I decided to learn anyway. We read everything we could, experimented endlessly and on one unforgettable trip, we put our curiosity to the test. Over three nights we took nearly 200 photos. From all of them eight stood out. These were the images that made us pause and say this is it.
That experience changed everything. since then we continue to head into the dark together, learning how the camera sees the night, how the sky moves, and how patience and practice turn moments into art. Each photograph is part of that ongoing journey-captured not just with a camera, but with wonder, persistence, and shared discovery.
I love the allure of nature-the way certain places stay with you long after you've left them. Though my photography I try to capture those moments so I can return to them again and again.
The world is filled with quiet wonders and I photograph nature just as I see it with my own eyes-honest, unfiltered, and full of beauty. My hope is that these images allow you to pause, feel the connection, and revisit a place that speaks to you whenever you need it.

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
- Ferris Bueller
There is beauty all around us, yet so often it goes unnoticed in the rush of everyday life. Photography became my way of slowing down-of truly seeing the world around me. I started taking pictures as a young girl and quickly fell in love with life through a lens. The moments I capture in my photographs are deeply personal: they are pieces of who I am.
I wa born and raised in Colorado, where my parents passed along a love of both travel and photography. We didn't journey to far-off, exotic places-our adventures were rooted right here at home, exploring the incredible landscapes of Colorado, even if only for a day. My mom was always behind the camera while my dad happily drove us from place to place.
Growing up in a family of 5 kids meant things were often chaotic. As we all spilled out of the car, several of us with cameras in hand, my dad would pause to take in the scenery-and then he would look at us capturing it with our lens. then he would blink really hard, smile and say, "Click...you're on my camera"
That simple moment has stayed with me. It reminds me that photography isn't just about the view- it's about presence, connection, and noticing the beauty in both the landscape and the people you share it with.

When my husband and I first got married, we quickly discovered we came from very different schools of thought when it came to road trips. I. was used to stopping whenever something caught my eye- any place that felt worthy of being captured. He, on the other hand was raised getting to the destination as quickly as possible, with as few stops as necessary.
over the years we learned to meet somewhere in the middle.
When our daughter was born, travel looked a little different. We couldn't go as often or as far as we wanted, but whenever we did, the camera was always one of the first things we packed. She loved having her picture taken and by the time she was five, she had become quite the little shutterbug herself-borrowing her aunts point-and-shoot camera we had discovered her talent. That Christmas she received her very own camera.
From then on, our stops grew longer. We lingered more. We each took our time capturing multiple perspectives at each location.
Now with our daughter grown, married and a mother herself, we find ourselves returning to travel and photography with a renewed sense of appertain. We are looking forward to slowing down more-embracing the journey, the pauses, and the art of photography that has quietly woven itself through every chapter of our lives.
